tear into 作撕裂时，就不一定撕成几片了！

我觉得不能这样表示
tear vi,vt
做vt，直接根名词
tear sth in two(pieces)
sth is tron in two(pieces)
做vi时，一般这样：
The dog tore at the meat.
狗撕扯肉
tear down old tenements.
拆毁旧住房

tear in two必然要跟物，要么直接加名词，要么加介词后跟名词。

tear into two好像更形象
